How far do you travel to see “your” team?
I really hate saying “my team” or “your team” as they belong to no one or everyone — whatever.
I’m about 30 days from moving me, the misses, and the munchkin out of The Hammer (Hamilton) and heading West. Colorado to be precise. Anyhoo, I am going to be about 65 miles west of Denver and am on the fence whether or not to be an Avalanche season ticket holder. Currently it takes 50-70 minutes each direction to catch games at the ACC.
I was curious if others commute as far to enjoy thugs on ice.

Joe… Sold my abode here in Hamilton. I gave away my Leafs tickets for the remainder of the year and will likely allow this person to buy my seats next year. I am going to retain the rights and own the tickets however. We built a place in Silverthorne, CO on 40+ acres. So… I guess if I am now a Coloradoian, I should live like one. Go Broncos!
It takes about 45 minutes total (drive for 10 minutes to the Metro station and then hop on the rail) to get to the Verizon Center for a Caps game and 10 minutes to drive to the Sommet Center for a Preds game.
