How to Get Your Cute Kid Noticed

Just about every parent can’t contain his and her joy in parading pictures of their lovely little kid to everyone they know.   People have been known to compile their kid’s pictures on an album.

Today, they can do that with literally unlimited digital picture files stored on their PC hard drives.  But more than just photo snapshots, there’s also video.  Nothing immortalizes your cute baby or kid better than taking video snippets. In the past, you needed a video camcorder to do that.  Today, even a cellphone equipped with video capture can do the job, perhaps not as good, but it works, especially with high end cellphones.

All these become a centerpiece for conversation when your kid gets christened or goes into his or her first birthday.  Cute babies are always a good excuse to host impromptu parties with family friends and neighbors at any time outside of a birthday occasion.  Even strangers who can’t get enough of your kid are welcome.

You can host a welcome party after the wife gives birth. You can have a gathering to celebrate your kid’s first walk or first word.  You can even host a party every month or quarter before the first birthday. Now you can do that online and disarm the entire world with your cute baby pictures.

So how do you get your baby noticed?  Here are a few things you as a parent can do:

• Enter your baby pictures in a baby contest.  One of the best moments a parent can have is to see their kids win a contest or two.  Well, maybe not the top prize, but at least your kid could land among the top ten or even the tope 20 in a baby photo contest sponsored by many baby-centric site on line.  These are often websites promoting products for your baby or kids.
• Set up a blog if you haven’t already got one about anything.  If you have a blog about gardening, about your hobby, or just anything under the sun, you as the owner of that blog can make a special interruption to all the discussion and tell your blog posters you just got blessed with the best thing that ever happened to your life – your very own cute baby.

One of the most natural places to post your wonderful baby pictures is in your Facebook, or any social networking site you may have.  Nothing comes close to a socially engaging topic as having your baby pictures shared online.  You Are sure to elicit remarks like “congratulations” and “ooooh, what a cute baby” from your friends on Facebook.
